Iveta Palečková finished her major in banking at the School of Business Administration of the Silesian University in Karvina in 2009. She got involved into work in the Department of Finance as an internal doctoral student in September 2009. She finished her doctoral study in January 2013 and she worked here as an assistant professor. She was appointed as an associate professor in Finance in 2019. In July 2020 she was appointed as Vice Dean for Science and Research. She lectures in courses Finance in business, Financial econometrics, Banking Models and Analysis and Financial and Insurance Mathematics.
