An international conference organized by the International Atlantic Economic Society was held in Athens from 27 to 30 March 2019. During the first week in April 2019 Tom Heryán is back at Italian university in the center of Tuscan area, the picturesque city of Siena. He has led a few lectures at the University of Siena. His lectures have focused on the interest rate risk and credit risk of the financial institutions (3rd year students, BSc. studies), and financial derivatives (2nd year students, MSc. studies). He also leads a two blocks' workshop called Soft Skills in Econometrics. Apart from that he introduces the students with possibilities of ERASMUS stay at Silesian University, School of Business Administration in Karvina.

The 23th International Conference CURRENT TRENDS IN PUBLIC SECTOR RESEARCH is held at Masaryk University in Brno on January 24 - 25, 2019.
