With the participation of about 30 academic and administrative staff of 17 different universities from 12 European countries, the International Staff Week 2019 (17-21/6/2019) was held at Prof.Dr. Osman Turan Cultural and Congress Centre by Karadeniz Technical University’s Office of International Relations. The event included sessions on topics ranging from project implementation within Erasmus+ Programme, student motivation, internationalisation, OLS & language learning, to the functions of student communities such as ESN. The event also created the opportunity to discuss current and prospective cooperation between universities. FEB Zagreb 10th International conference on Economics and Business held in Opatija, HR, June 12th to 15th, 2019 . An advanced intensive two days course in using STATA software is organized by Timberlake at Cass Business School, City University of London, from 3rd to 4th of June 2019. After passing the STATA Winter School in last December, Tom Heryán has taken another chance to make an improvement of his skills in econometrics. This course is called Linear Instrumental-Variables Regression using STATA and it has been led by Giovanni Cerulli, Ph.D. (Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth, National Research Council of Italy).
